Create Diversity

Create Diversity is a hub of ideas, learning and inspiration that aims to encourage organisations across the creative and cultural sector, of all sizes and types, to embark on or deepen their own equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) journey so that together, we grow the sectors’ diversity of thought, output, reach and engagement, maximising the economic and social impact this brings.

Create Diversity

Create Diversity amplifies examples of effective EDI practice through case studies from right across the creative sector showing how diversity creates better ideas, better content, better business performance, and better staff engagement and retention.

Work collaboratively

EDI is not a battle to be waged alone. Reach out to others making change in this space, learn from each other, copy great ideas, and listen to what your intended beneficiaries want and need before deciding how to act.

Start somewhere

Don’t let “great be the enemy of the good”. EDI is an ever-evolving journey towards better organisational, sectoral, and community culture that should be supporting everyone to engage on a level playing field so that we can all access the sectors’ opportunities and be our full and unique selves once there.
